We will be putting on 2 Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) classes for all ALS and BLS providers on June 26-27th and September 25-26th.
For those who have not taken PHTLS in the past it is an excellent opportunity to hone your skills when working on trauma.
The course is scenario-based, with lectures and interactive skills station components meant to increase the prehospital care providers’ knowledge, and further develop the critical thinking skills required to effectively treat the trauma patient in the field.
These classes are available to all Skagit County EMS Providers for $15 and to out-of county providers for $205. This covers your PHTLS certification card (good for 3 years), lunch and refreshments for both days and 6th Edition PHTLS text book.
We encourage people to sign up early for these courses as we have capped each class at 24 participants. Registration is on a first come, first served basis so act quickly.
