How Safe Is Your Little Traveler?

When traveling on the road, make sure your child is buckled up.

Washington state law states that all children MUST be in an appropriate car seat until they are 8 years old, unless they are 4′9″. Moreover, children must be in the backseat of a vehicle until they are 13 years old.

Washington has one of the highest seatbelt and car seat usage rates in the country. But for those parents who are using car seats, 80 percent of them are not installing them properly!

Let an expert to help you make sure your child is safe for the road. Trained and nationally-certified technicians with SAFE KIDS Skagit County will conduct a car seat checks on the date and location below to ensure that car seats are installed correctly and children are properly secure.

  • Thursday, May 13, 3 to 5 p.m.
    Island Hospital, Anacortes
  • Saturday, May 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    Checkup is cancelled
  • Thursday, May 20, 1 to 3 p.m.

  • Thursday, June 10, 3 to 5 p.m.
