The 29th annual Tulip Pedal took place on Saturday, April 17, with a record number of riders participating. We have an unofficial count of 805, the most ever in event history.
Thank you to the cyclists who came from far and wide to our annual event. You all are awesome to come out and support Safe Kids Skagit County! I hope you had a good time and were pleased with the ride. Please note that I take very seriously any comments, questions, concerns, etc. Let me know so we can improve our ride, pat people on the back, address problems, etc. One thing I know that was a concern were the road markings (John Henrys). Most said they saw them but a lot of you said you missed them or weren’t looking for them. We were told to use blue this year. They ended up being dark and I do apologize for that. We will be rectifying that problem next year.
I will be sending out information soon on next year’s event, which will be our 30th annual event. Big plans are in store and if you have ideas or things you want to see, let me know.
